Counselling and Psychotherapy

How counselling and psychotherapy can help

As a dedicated professional I provide a safe and confidential environment where you can talk openly about your challenges. Together, we’ll explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours, helping you gain a clearer understanding of yourself and your relationships with others.

My role is to support you in finding your own solutions—whether that’s making meaningful changes in your life or discovering effective ways to cope with your challenges.

The way I work

At the heart of all therapies lies one fundamental foundation…the relationship.  For some, this may be obvious, but for others maybe not.  A union that creates a space for trusting, empathetic resonance, whereby two-way communication can flourish.  It is appreciated that this may feel daunting, I too have been there.  The first session with a stranger, reticent to share and questioning my presence at all.  Not all therapy suits everyone, nor does every therapist suit every client.

I am a qualified integrative therapist with valuable experience gained through extensive supervised practice and education, including work with a charity in Birmingham supporting clients in therapeutic settings.  My work has also included supportive counselling for adults at Solihull College and University Centre across their campuses alongside bereavement counselling with Marie Curie.  I offer online sessions, making therapy accessible to clients across the UK, whether you prefer virtual support or are unable to attend in-person.  For those seeking face to face sessions, I provide in-person services in Solihull, Warwickshire and South Birmingham areas.
